Greenside, a family-friendly spot with a kids' play structure, is coming to Memorial City

Memorial City is getting a new hangout built with families in mind. Greenside, at 1085 Gessner, turns three old warehouses into about 35,000 square feet of restaurants, shops and wellness spots, all wrapped around a one-acre green space. The plans include play areas and outdoor seating, so it could become an easy place to grab a bite while the kids run around.

It's a joint project from MetroNational, the owner of Memorial City Mall, and Radom Capital, the team behind M-K-T Heights and Montrose Collective. Announced tenants include Michelin-recognized Pizzana (its second Houston location), the fast-casual restaurant Honest Mary's, Leemoo, Hiatus Spa and Solidcore. Openings are expected this fall, and we'll share dates as soon as they're set.
